Amit Verma appointed as Director, NITI Aayog

Amit Verma (IFoS:2005:UD) was on Monday (21.02.2022) selected for appointment as Director in the NITI Aayog for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Verma under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. At present, he is serving as Director, Rajaji Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand.
