SC Collegium recommends 15 judicial officers for appointment as High Court judges in Karnataka, Delhi, J&K and Ladakh, and Jharkhand.

SC Collegium Recommends 15 Judicial Officers as HC Judges

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended 15 judicial officers for appointment as Judges of four High CourtsKarnataka, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and Jharkhand.

The recommendations were approved at the Collegium meeting held on September 10, 2026. The Collegium has recommended three judicial officers for the Karnataka High Court, eight for the Delhi High Court, one for the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and three for the Jharkhand High Court.

The names of the recommended judicial officers are:

Karnataka High Court

  1. Usharani
  2. KS Bharath Kumar
  3. Nerale Veerabhadraiah Bhavani

Delhi High Court

  1. Gurvinder Pal Singh
  2. Nivedita Anil Sharma
  3. Nisha Sahay Saxena
  4. Sanjay Sharma-I
  5. Bharat Parashar
  6. Aditi Choudhary
  7. Dinesh Bhatt
  8. Arun Bhardwaj

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court

  1. Yash Paul Bourney

Jharkhand High Court

  1. Manoj Prasad
  2. Akhil Kumar
  3. Ram Sharma
