Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Tuesday (September 8, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IAS officers, bringing changes at the level of Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary and other senior administrative positions. The reshuffle includes key departments such as Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Finance, Agriculture, Fire and Emergency Services, Transport and MSME & Textiles.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- Anoop Kumar Agrawal (IAS:1993:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department, will now serve as Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department.
- Surendra Gupta (IAS:1997:WB), Principal Secretary, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department and LRC, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department and LRC.
- Onkar Singh Meena (IAS:1997:WB), Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Fire and Emergency Services.
- Devi Prasad Karanam (IAS:2008:WB), Secretary in Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department.
- Pawan Kadyan (IAS:2012:WB), Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamp Revenue with additional charge of Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, has been transferred and posted as Senior Special Secretary in Finance (Budget) with additional charge of Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamp Revenue, Director of Treasuries and Accounts and Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance.
- Dipankar Mandal (IAS:2013:WB), Director, Transport under Transport Department in the rank of Senior Special Secretary, has been transferred and posted as Senior Special Secretary, ARD Department.
- Shiraz Daneshyar (IAS:2014:WB), Special Secretary, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Agriculture Department.
- Hrishikes Mudi (IAS:2014:WB), Special Commissioner in the rank of Special Secretary, Agriculture Department under order of transfer as Special Commissioner O/o Bardhaman Division, has been transferred as Member Secretary, West Bengal Commission for Women.
- Arindam Dutta (IAS:2014:WB), Special Commissioner in the rank of Special Secretary, Food and Supplies Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Social Welfare Department.
- Saddam Navas (IAS:2018:WB), ADM, South 24 Paraganas, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, MSME&T Department with additional charge of MD, WBSIDCL
- Tanui Pathak (IAS:2024:WB), has been posted as OSD, P&AR Department with additional charge of OSD, Micro Small Medium Enterprises &
Textiles Department.
