IRTS officer Sudheer Kumar Singh (IRTS:2011), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been appointed Director in the Department of Defence, Delhi, for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (July 20, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post for a period of five years, whichever is earlier.
