Haryana transfers 9 IPS officers; AS Chawla gets additional charge of DG Prisons

Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Friday (July 10, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for nine IPS officers, assigning new responsibilities to several senior officers.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

1. Arshinder Singh Chawla (IPS:1993:HY), Director General of Police, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, has been given additional charge of Director General, Prisons, Haryana.
2. Kala Ramachandran (IPS:1994:HY), Director General, Madhuban Complex, and DGP Training & Director, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, has been given additional charge of Director, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Madhuban.
3. Pankaj Nain (IPS:2007:HY), Special Officer (Community Policing and Outreach) in the Office of the Chief Minister, with additional charge of IGP/Security, CID(H) and IGP/Ambala Range, Ambala, has been given additional charge of Commissioner of Police, Panchkula.
4. Naazneen Bhasin (IPS:2007:HY), IGP, RTC, Bhondsi, with additional charge of IGP/CID(H), has been given additional charge of IGP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Haryana.
5. Lokender Singh (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Security, CID(H), Panchkula, with additional charge of Commandant, 1st Battalion, HAP, Ambala, has been posted as SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Haryana.
6. Upasana (IPS:2017:HY), SP, CID (H), has been posted as SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Haryana.
7. Varun Singla (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Security, CID(H), has been posted as SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Haryana.
8. Srishti Gupta (IPS:2021:HY), DCP, Panchkula, has been posted as AIG (Welfare), Police Headquarters, and SP, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB).
9. Aditi Singh (IPS:2021:HY), SP, SVB & ACB(H), has been transferred and posted as DCP, Panchkula.
