Punjab transfers 8 IAS officers; Neelima posted as Secretary, Personnel

Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Wednesday (July 8, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Neelima (IAS:2008:PB), Secretary, Home Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Personnel, with additional charge of Secretary, Vigilance.
2. Sakshi Sawhney (IAS:2014:PB), Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, with additional charge of Mission Director, National Health Mission, and Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority (PUDA), has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, with additional charge of Mission Director, National Health Mission and Additional Nodal Officer, Anti-Campaign.
3. Sandeep Rishi (IAS:2015:PB), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Housing & Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), SAS Nagar.
4. Parminder Pal Singh (IAS:2016:PB), Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Home Affairs.
5. Neeru Katyal Gupta (IAS:2016:PB), Special Secretary, General Administration & Coordination, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Housing & Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority (PUDA) with additional charge of Additional Director, Town & Country Planning.
6. Nikas Kumar (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Hoshiarpur, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
7. Susmita (IAS:2023:PB), posted in the Department of Excise & Taxation and holding additional charge as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Taxation-I, Patiala with additional charge of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
8. Rakesh Kumar Meena (IAS:2023:PB), Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Hoshiarpur.
