Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government on Thursday (July 2, 2026) effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre, transferring four officers and issuing fresh posting orders.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), senior IAS officer Harsh Gupta (IAS:1997:KN), Chairman of the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Prajaseva Department.
Gupta has also been assigned the concurrent charge of the post of Chairman, Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Ragapriya R (IAS:2011:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Commissioner for Labour, Bengaluru, vice Gopal Krishna HN (IAS:2012:KN).
Gopal Krishna HN, who was serving as Commissioner for Labour, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Collegiate Education, Bengaluru, vice Manjushree N.
Further, Harish Kumar K (IAS:2012:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been posted as Director, Department of Technical Education, Bengaluru, against the existing vacancy.
