Senior IAS officer Niraj Verma (IAS:1994:AM), Secretary in the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law & Justice, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (June 12, 2026), the competent authority approved assignment of additional charge of the post to Verma from June 13, 2026 to June 19, 2026 during the period of absence on leave of Nikunja Bihari Dhal (IAS:1993:OR).
