IAS officer Avinash Lavania (IAS:2009:MP) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Delhi, for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (November 18, 2025), the competent authority has approved his appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Currently, Lavania is serving in his cadre state Madhya Pradesh as Managing Director of MP Power Management Company, Jabalpur, a position he has held since January 2025.
