In a major administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday (October 9, 2025) transferred as many as 31 senior officers to new postings across the state. The list includes 29 IAS officers, one IRS officer, and one IFS officer, marking one of the largest bureaucratic reshuffles in recent months.
KVN Chakradhar Babu, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Director of Secondary Health in the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, Managing Director of AP-MARKFED, has been posted as Director of Agriculture and given full additional charge (FAC) as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director (VC&MD) of the AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation. Pattanshetti Ravi Subash has been appointed as Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, while Siva Sankar Lotheti will take charge as Chairman and Managing Director of AP Southern Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
S Dilli Rao, Director of Agriculture, has been transferred and posted as VC&MD of AP State Civil Supplies Corporation with FAC of the post of Controller, Legal Metrology. P Ranjit Basha has been posted as Director of Intermediate Education with FAC as Commissioner of School Infrastructure under the School Education Department. P Arun Babu has been assigned as VC&MD of AP State Housing Corporation and Commissioner of the AP Weaker Sections Housing Programme. JV Murali will now serve as Additional Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA), while TS Chetan has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the CCLA office.
B Navya, Joint Collector of Kurnool, has been posted as VC&MD of AP State Warehousing Corporation Ltd. CV Praveen Adhithya, CEO of the AP Maritime Board, has been transferred as Managing Director of the AP Airports Development Corporation Ltd., with FAC of VC&MD of the Infrastructure Corporation of AP. KS Viswanathan, Commissioner of VMRDA, has been appointed as Director of Information & Public Relations and Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary in the General Administration Department. R Govinda Rao, Additional Director of Survey, Settlements and Land Records, will now serve as Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary in the Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies Department.
S Chinna Ramudu has been posted as Secretary of the AP State Commission for Scheduled Castes, while G Surya Sai Praveenchand, Additional Commissioner at APCRDA, will serve as Joint Managing Director of AP-Transco. Bhawna, Commissioner of Kakinada Municipal Corporation, has been transferred as Joint Collector of Bapatla district. C Vishnu Charan, Joint Collector of Nandyal district, will now serve as Deputy Secretary in the Social Welfare Department, and SS Shobika has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department.
Abhishek Kumar, Joint Collector of Sri Satya Sai district, has been appointed as CEO of the AP Maritime Board with FAC of VC&MD of the AP Maritime Infrastructure Development Corporation. Kollabathula Karthik will serve as Joint Collector in Nandyal district, while Shubham Bansal, Joint Collector of Tirupati, will take charge as Director of Industries. Abhishek Gowda, Joint Collector of ASR district, has been transferred to Eluru district in the same capacity. Noorul Quamer, Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department, has been posted as Joint Collector of Kurnool.
Rahul Meena, Joint Collector of Kakinada district, has been transferred as Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation. Apoorva Bharat, Sub Collector of Etapaka, will serve as Joint Collector of Kakinada district, while Mantri Mourya Bharadwaj, Sub Collector of Adoni, has been appointed as Joint Collector of Sri Satya Sai district. B Sahadith Venkat Trivinag, Sub Collector of Markapur, will now serve as Deputy Secretary in the Housing Department.
Prasanna Venkatesh, Secretary of the AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, has been given FAC as VC&MD of the Leather Industries Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. Muralidhar Kommisetty (IRS) has been posted as Managing Director of AP Dairy Development Corporation and Special Officer of the AP Amul Project. S Bharani (IFS), Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, has been placed in FAC of the posts of Commissioner of Youth Services and Managing Director of AP Society for Training and Employment Promotion.
