The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday (June 29, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers, with some key reshuffles at the senior level.
In the most prominent move, SB Shiradkar (IPS:1993:UP), currently serving as DGP/ADGP, Lucknow Zone, has been transferred and posted as DG, Police Promotion & Recruitment Board, Lucknow. He will be succeeded by Sujeet Pandey (IPS:1994:UP), who was previously posted as ADGP, PAC Headquarters, Lucknow.
RK Swarnkar (IPS:1996:UP), presently ADGP, APTC, Sitapur, has been posted as ADGP, PAC Headquarters, replacing Sujeet Pandey.
At the SP level, Ashish Tiwari (IPS:2012:UP) has been transferred from SP, CID, Lucknow, and appointed as SSP, Saharanpur, replacing Rohit Singh Sajwan (IPS:2013:UP), who has now been attached to the DGP office as SP.
