The central deputation tenure of Ajai Kumar Verma (IDSE:2000) as Director in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has been extended for one year. According to order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (20.06.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to extend the deputation tenure of Mr Verma for a period of one year beyond 01.07.2025 and upto 01.07.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, Ajai Kumar Verma (IDSE:2000) began his central deputation tenure with effect from July 2, 2020.
