Senior IAS officer Rajesh Rajora (IAS:1990:MP), currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, is set to be appointed as the next Chief Secretary (CS) of Madhya Pradesh. According to sources, the official order confirming his appointment is expected to be issued soon, unless any last-minute developments alter the current speculations.
The current CS, Veera Rana (IAS:1988:MP), is set to retire on September 30, and she will not be receiving another extension. After her retirement, Rana may be appointed as the State Election Commissioner.
