Senior diplomat Arun Kumar Chatterjee (IFS:1992) on Saturday (13.07.2024) appointed to the post of Secretary in the Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs(CPV & OIA), under the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi. He will succeed Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi (IFS:1991).
“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee (IFS:92), Ambassador, Embassy of India, Kyrgyztan as Secretary (CPV & OIA) vice Shri Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi (IFS:91),” said the order issued by the Personnel Ministry.
Currently, Chatterjee is serving as the Indian Ambassador to the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan.
