Brajendra Navnit gets extension as Ambassador & Permanent Representative of India to WTO, Geneva

The foreign deputation tenure of Brajendra Navnit (IAS:1999:TN) as Ambassador & Permanent Representative of India to the WTO, Geneva, has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on June 28, 2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Commerce to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Navnit to the post for a period beyond 28.06.2023 and upto 31.03.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
