New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Nandkumar, Group General Manager, RITES Limited, Mumbai, for appointment as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ).
The recommendation was made at the PESB selection meeting held on September 25, 2026.
Nandkumar will succeed Commodore Rakesh Chhillar, who is set to retire on December 31, 2026. Chhillar has been serving as CMD of Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction Company Limited since December 27, 2022.
A total of 9 candidates appeared before the PESB selection panel for the post. They were:

- Amanpreet Singh Chopra, Senior General Manager, Engineers India Limited, New Delhi

- Vishwajit Kumar, General Manager, MECON Limited
- Rakesh Kumar, General Manager, Engineering Projects (India) Limited
- Dr. Rajnish Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Aviation), Northern Region Office, Delhi, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
- Commodore Ashish Goyal, Commodore Directing Staff (Navy), Army War College, Mhow
