Mahadev Maruti Powar has been promoted to the grade of Director General (DG) in the Geological Survey of India (GSI). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (08.05.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of officers for promotion to the grade of DG in level 17 of the Pay Matrix for the panel year 2023 w.e.f the date of assumption of charge of the post and until further orders.
