West Bengal : 7 IPS officers shifted, R Rajshekaran posted as ADG, CID

The West Bengal government on Thursday (05.05.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of seven IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Jayanta Kumar Basu: ADG & IGP Provisioning.
2. Natrajan Ramesh Babu (IPS:1991:WB): Director, Directorate of Economic Offences in the rank of ADG.
3. Gyanwant Singh (IPS:1993:WB): ADG & IGP, STF.
4. R Rajshekaran (IPS:1997:WB): ADG & IGP, CID.
5. Manoj Kumar Verma (IPS:1998:WB): CP Barrackpore Police Commissionerate with additional charge of IGP, ACB.
6. Biswajit Ghosh (IPS:2009:WB): DC, DD, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.
7. Arijit Sinha (IPS:2013:WB): SP, Jhargram Police District.
