The Bihar government on Wednesday (17.11.2021) posted senior IAS officer K K Pathak (IAS:1990:BH) as Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Prohibition and Excise. Pathak, who returned to Bihar just a couple of days ago from central deputation, will relieve Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Chaitanya Prasad (IAS:1990:BH) of the additional charge of the Department.
K K Pathak was Principal Secretary of the same department when the Nitish Kumar government announced total prohibition in the state in April 2016.
Pathak was the Managing Director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited while on central deputation.
