The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday (21.09.2021) cleared the appointment of four Chief Vigilance Officers (CVO) for four PSUs and BIS.
They are :
- Ms S Uma Venkatesan (IRS-IT:1994) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer in Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL), Kochi for a period up to 09.10.2024.
- Anupam Chandra (IOFS:2000) has been appointed as Common Chief Vigilance officer in National Projects Construction Ltd. (NPCC) and Water & Power Consultancy Service Ltd. (WAPCOS) for an initial period of three years.
- K Rajendran (CPSE:1988) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer in Cochin Port Trust (CoPT) for a period ending 23.11.2023 which can be extended up to 23.11.2024 (combined six yrs)
- Ashish Tripathi (IRS-IT:2007) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Delhi for an initial period of three years.
