Uttar Pradesh government promoted 41 senior IPS officers in the rank of ADG, IG, DIG and SP. Among the promoted IPS officers 9 have been promoted to DG rank from ADG, 9 officers to ADG from IG rank, 10 DIG to IG and 13 SP to DIG rank.
