8 IRSSE & IRSME officers empanelled for holding Joint Secretary-level posts at Centre

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) approved the empanelment of eight officers from the 2002, 2003 and 2004 batches of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) and Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) for holding Joint Secretary or equivalent level posts in the Government of India.

The officers empanelled are as follows:

1. Amit Mishra (IRSSE:2002)
2. Pratibha Devendra Yadav (IRSSE:2002)
3. Sachin Shukla (IRSSE:2002)
4. Rajnesh Singh (IRSME:2003)
5. Romen Rawat (IRSME:2003)
6. Shashi Kiran (IRSME:2003)
7. Manvendra Singh (IRSSE:2004)
8. Anant Kumar (IRSME:2004)
