Vivek Kumar Gupta (IRSE:1988) has been appointed to the post of Managing Director (MD) at the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), following the approval of his appointment by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). The ACC has sanctioned Mr. Gupta’s tenure in the position from the date of taking charge until his superannuation or until further directives, whichever event comes earlier.
Prior to this appointment, Vivek Kumar Gupta held the position of Principal Executive Director of Gati Shakti at the Railway Board, operating under the Ministry of Railways. His elevation to the role of Managing Director at NHSRCL signifies a strategic move, bringing his expertise and experience to contribute to the advancement of high-speed rail initiatives in the country.
