Vijay Kumar Meena re-designated as Director in Labour & Employment Ministry

Vijay Kumar Meena (ISupplyS:2012), presently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Labour & Employment, will now hold the re-designated post of Director in the Ministry.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (September 1, 2026), the Competent Authority has approved the re-designation of the post as a measure personal to Meena.

The re-designation will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post of Director, which he will hold until March 6, 2028, i.e., for the admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Notably, Vijay Kumar Meena (ISupplyS:2012) has been on central deputation in the Ministry of Labour & Employment since March 7, 2023.
