V R Akkaraju has been appointed as Chairperson (JS level), New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), Mangalore, Karnataka. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (09.02.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Akkaraju to the post for a second term, with effect from 11.06.2024 for a period upto the date of his superannuation on 30.11.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
