V Jaya Chandra Bhanu Reddy repatriated to parent cadre Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: IAS officer V Jaya Chandra Bhanu Reddy (IAS:2011:TN), who is serving as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre of Tamil Nadu on personal grounds.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (September 17, 2026), the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying for his repatriation to the Tamil Nadu cadre, with the provision of extended cooling-off.

Reddy was appointed as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in June 2025 for a period of five years. However, he is being repatriated well before completion of his approved tenure.
