Tamil Nadu: Five 1993 batch IAS officers elevated to Chief Secretary Grade

Five IAS officers from the 1993 batch, who were granted temporary sanction for the creation of an Additional Chief Secretary rank post, have been promoted to the Chief Secretary grade in Tamil Nadu. The officers, along with their respective names and departments, are as follows:

   • Previous Position: Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Chennai.
2. Sunil Paliwal (IAS:1993:TN)
   • Previous Position: Chairman, Chennai Port Authority, Chennai.
3. Dheeraj Kumar (IAS:1993:TN)
   • Previous Position: Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department, Chennai.
4. S Vijaykumar (IAS:1993:TN)
   • Previous Position: Additional Chief Secretary/Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited (TNUIFSL), Chennai.
5. Dr K Manivasan (IAS:1993:TN)
   • Previous Position: Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department, Chennai.
