The central deputation tenure of Sanjay Kumar (IRAS:1989) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Atomic Energy has been extended for a period up to 06.04.2024. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the central government has approved the proposal of Department of Atomic Energy for extension of central deputation tenure of Kumar for a combined tenure of seven years up to 06.04.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
