The central deputation tenure of Rakesh Sarwal (IAS:1988:TR) as Managing Director, National Waqf Development Corporation Ltd. for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (20.09.2022), the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Sarwal for a period of one year beyond 30.09.2022 i.e. upto 30.09.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has also been given additional charge of the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders.
