The Punjab government on Monday (04.03.2022) posted senior IPS officer Gaurav Yadav (IPS:1992:PB) as Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann.
Along with the SPS to Punjab CM, Yadav will continue to hold the charge of ADGP, Modernisation.
The reshuffle also saw the removal of another senior officer, Praveen Sinha (IPS:1994:PB), as the ADGP (prisons).
“Sinha shall report to the DGP, Punjab. His posting orders will be issued separately,” the orders reads. ADGP, Provisioning Varinder Kumar (IPS:1993:PB) has been given the additional charge of ADGP, Prisons.
