The central deputation tenure of Parthiban P (IAS:2011:AGMUT) as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has been extended by one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (May 2, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of his deputation tenure for one year beyond June 25, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Parthiban P has been serving as Director in the PMO since January 2025. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Expenditure from June 2022.
He was appointed on central deputation for a four-year tenure, which was scheduled to end in June 2026. With this extension, his tenure will now run till June 2027.
