New Delhi: P Shankar (Retired Sr PSS, CSSS cadre) has been appointed as Private Secretary to NITI Aayog Member Dr M Srinivas for a period of one year.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (July 25, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment.
The appointment will be effective from the date of assumption of charge of the post. It will remain valid for one year, or on a co-terminus basis with the tenure of the NITI Aayog Member, or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Member, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
