The Madhya Pradesh government has discontinued the services of missing IAS officer Rani Bansal (IAS:2015:MP). She has been missing without giving any reason or providing any information since May 2019. She was last posted as SDM Bagli in Dewas district. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions under All India Services Rules 1955 of rule 7 (2) (ka) terminated her service on the recommendation of the Madhya Pradesh government. After approval from the President of India, an order to this effect was issued by the government.
