The Ministry of Home Affairs Wednesday (07.06.2023) posted senior IPS officer Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal (IPS:1995:AGMUT) as Head of Police in Ladakh Union Territory. He was serving as ADGP Security J&K.
Jamwal will replace S S Khandare (IPS:1995:AGMUT), who has been appointed as IG BSF. Khandare was posted as the first Police chief of Ladakh after it became a UT.
