Senior IAS officer Manoj Joshi (IAS:1989:KL), Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Fertilizers till July 13, 2026. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (June 29, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the continuation of the additional charge with immediate effect during the period of absence on leave of Rajat Kumar Mishra (IAS:1992:RJ).
Notably, Joshi was entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Fertilizers on June 15, 2026, with immediate effect till June 28, 2026, during the leave of Rajat Kumar Mishra. With the latest order, he will continue to hold the additional charge till July 13, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
