Karnataka govt transfers 14 IAS officers; Major Manivannan gets additional charge

The Karnataka government on Thursday (June 18, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 14 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Major Manivannan P (IAS:1998:KN), Commissioner, Bengaluru Development Authority, Bengaluru, has been placed in the concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Land Transport, Bengaluru.
2. Imkongla Jamir M (IAS:2002:KN), Resident Commissioner, Karnataka Bhawan, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Coordination), Karnataka Bhawan, New Delhi.
3. Dr Prasad N V (IAS:2004:KN), waiting for posting, has been posted as Secretary to Government, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Bengaluru.
4. Sameer Shukla (IAS:2005:KN), Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner, Karnataka Bhawan, New Delhi.
5. Thulasi Maddineni (IAS:2005:KN), Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Education Department (Higher Education), Bengaluru.
6. Randeep D (IAS:2006:KN), Secretary (Panchayat Raj), Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru. He is also placed in the concurrent charge of the post of Secretary (Panchayat Raj), Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru.
7. Sivakumar K B (IAS:2010:KN), Managing Director, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru.
8. Dr Ram Prasath Manohar V (IAS:2010:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, Bengaluru, has been placed in concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner of Tourism, Bengaluru.
9. Dr Sateesha B C (IAS:2012:KN), Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Commerce and Industries Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Agriculture Department, Bengaluru.
10. Akram Pasha (IAS:2012:KN), waiting for posting, has been posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission and Directorate of Health, Bengaluru.
11. Raghunandan Murthy (IAS:2014:KN), Commissioner of Treasuries, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Bengaluru. He has also been placed in concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner of Treasuries, Bengaluru.
12. Nitish K (IAS:2015:KN), waiting for posting, has been posted as Director of Municipal Administration, Bengaluru. He has also been placed in concurrent charge of the post of Special Commissioner (Health and Education), Greater Bengaluru Authority, Bengaluru.
13. Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar (IAS:2016:KN), Joint Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Commerce and Industries Department, Bengaluru.
14. Gajanan Bale (IAS:2022:KN), General Manager, Resettlement & Rehabilitation and Land Acquisition, Upper Krishna Project, Bagalkot, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bagalkot District. He has also been placed in concurrent charge of the post of General Manager, Resettlement & Rehabilitation and Land Acquisition, Upper Krishna Project, Bagalkot.
