Kamal Chopra was on Wednesday (09.02.2022) appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL) for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to appoint Chopra to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of the charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as General Manager, ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL).
