Mitesh Jain (IPS:2004:WB) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday (25.04.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Jain to the post on deputation basis for five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
