In a significant development, Kundan Krishnan (IPS:1994:BH), currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre Bihar at the request of the state government. Speculations suggest an important assignment awaits Krishnan in Bihar.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (25.11.2024), the competent authority approved Krishnan’s premature repatriation.
Krishnan had been relieved by the Bihar government in May 2021 for central deputation as Joint Secretary in the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), a position he held for almost three years. In February 2024, he was appointed ADG of CISF.
