MCV Maheswar Reddy appointed DIG in CISF

New Delhi: Maharashtra cadre IPS officer MCV Maheswar Reddy (IPS:2012:MH) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on central deputation.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday (September 16, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post on the usual terms and conditions of central deputation.

Prior to this assignment, Reddy was serving as Superintendent of Police (SP), Jalgaon, in Maharashtra.
