Jayanti Ravi (IAS:1991:GJ) has been appointed as Secretary, Auroville Foundation in Tamil Nadu on deputation basis for period of three years. Presently, she is serving as Principal Secretary in the Health and Family & Welfare Department, Gujarat.
The appointment was cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet in its order dated May 24 that was made public Tuesday.
The committee has approved the proposal of the Department of Higher Education to appoint Ravi at Auroville on deputation, said the order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
