IAS officer Gaurav Singh Rajawat (IAS:2011:AGMUT), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as Director in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Delhi.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (November 3, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for a tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme, from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
