Ramesh Abhishek (Retd. IAS:1982:BH), former Secretary of Department of Promotion of Industry and internal trade (DPIIT) has joined global digital engineering and technology company Cyient as one of its directors. He is one of the most decorated former bureaucrats and has performed in various leadership roles including DPIITsecretary , and was instrumental in conceptualizing and rolling out Centre’s flagship programmes like , ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India’. He was also recently elected to the board of directors of the US-India Business Council (USIBC).
