Delhi govt effects major administrative reshuffle; transfers, reassigns 43 IAS and DANICS officers

The Delhi government on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) effected a major administrative reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 43 IAS and DANICS officers across departments.

The reshuffle involved changes at the level of Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary, Special Secretary, District Magistrate and other key administrative positions, along with reassignment of additional charges in several departments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Bipul Pathak (IAS:1992:AGMUT), Additional Chief Secretary (Social Welfare) holding additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (SC/ST/OBC), has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (WCD).
2. Navin Kumar Choudhary (IAS:1994:AGMUT), Additional Chief Secretary (I&FC) holding additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (GAD), will continue as Additional Chief Secretary (I&FC) with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (GAD). In partial modification of earlier orders, his posting as Additional Chief Secretary (GAD) will take effect upon relieving of Pandurang K Pole (IAS:2004:AGMUT) from the post of Secretary (GAD).
3. Pandurang K Pole (IAS:2004:AGMUT), Secretary (GAD) holding additional charge of Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Labour) and Secretary (Cooperation), has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Land & Building) with additional charges of Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Labour) and Secretary (Cooperation).
4. Jitender Yadav (IAS:2010:AGMUT), Managing Director, DTC holding additional charge of Special Commissioner (Transport) and Secretary (IT), has been assigned additional charge of Secretary (IT) and divested of the charge of Special Commissioner (Transport).
5. Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Special Secretary (CMO) holding additional charge of Special Secretary (Finance), has been given additional charge of Managing Director (SRDC).
6. D Varma (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Member (DUSIB) and Special Secretary (Planning) & ED (DFC), has been relieved of the charges of Special Secretary (Planning) and ED (DFC) and will continue as Member (DUSIB).
7. Pankaj Kumar (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Controller (W&M) holding additional charge of Dy Commissioner (HQ) and Special Secretary (NCR), will continue as Controller (W&M) with additional charge of Special Secretary (NCR).
8. G Sudhakar (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Director, WCD holding additional charge of MD (SULM), has been given additional charge of Member Secretary (DCW).
9. Sachin Rana (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Special Secretary (Home) holding additional charge of Special Secretary (UD), has been given additional charge of Pr Director (DFS), divesting A Nedunchezhiyan (IAS:2012:AGMUT) of the charge.
10. Suneel Anchipaka (IAS:2014:AGMUT), MD & CEO (DT&TDC) holding additional charge of Special Secretary (PWD), has been given additional charge of Special Secretary (Tourism).
11. Santosh Kumar Rai (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes) holding additional charge of Special CEO, DDMA, has been posted as Special CEO, DDMA with additional charge of Special Secretary (Home).
12. Sanjeev Kumar (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Special Secretary (Health), has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes).
13. Mekala Chaitanya Prasad (IAS:2015:AGMUT), DM (South West) holding additional charge of Director (Panchayat), has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (Health).
14. Kishore Khirsagar Lakshman (IAS:2016:AGMUT), Dy Commissioner/DM (Old Delhi) holding additional charge of MD (SRDC), has been transferred and posted as Dy Commissioner/DM (South West) with additional charge of Director (Panchayat).
15. Yash Chaudhary (IAS:2017:AGMUT), Special Secretary (Health), has been given additional charge of CPA with delegated financial powers of HOD, divesting DGHS of the delegated financial powers of HOD.
16. Patil Pranjal Lahensingh (IAS:2017:AGMUT), Additional Director (Education), has been transferred and posted as Special Director (WCD).
17. Amol Srivastava (IAS:2018:AGMUT), Dy Commissioner/DM (East), has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner (Transport).
18. Shamim Akhtar Tamanna (DANICS:1996), awaiting posting, has been posted as Special Secretary (AR).
19. M K Dwivedi (DANICS:2003), awaiting posting, has been posted as Additional Secretary (UD).
20. Dharmendra Kumar (DANICS:2008), Administrator, DCCWS holding additional charge of Additional Secretary, CMO, has been transferred and posted as Dy Commissioner/DM (Old Delhi) with additional charge of Administrator, DCCWS.
21. Shubhankar Ghosh (DANICS:2010), Additional Secretary (Home), has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Trade & Taxes).
22. Vaibhav Rikhari (DANICS:2013), Secretary to Minister (Health & Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology), has been transferred and posted as Director (DJB).
23. Rajesh Chaudhary (DANICS:2013), Joint Secretary (UD), has been transferred and posted as Secretary to Minister (Industries, Food & Supplies, Environment, Forest & Wild Life).
24. Mukesh Rajora (DANICS:2013), ADM (HQ), has been transferred and posted as Secretary to Minister (Health & Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology).

27. Ankur Meshram (DANICS:2014), ADM (Outer North), has been transferred and posted as Secretary to Minister (Social Welfare, Welfare of SC & ST, Cooperative, Election).

41. Javed Alam Khan (DANICS:2025), Superintendent, Prisons, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer, Drugs Control.
