Two senior officers in the capital- senior Security Advisor of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) K Vijay Kumar (Retd.IPS:1975:TN), and CRPF DG AP Maheshwari (IPS:1984:UP) have gone into self-quarantine, after coming into indirect contact with a CRPF doctor who was tested positive for COVID-19.
An officer with Vijay Kumar had come in touch with a CRPF doctor who tested positive for coronavirus.
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) had stayed in the transit officers’ mess which has since been sanitised.
The CRPF DG, AP Maheshwari is also undergoing self-quarantine as per protocol. (Source : India Today)
