Delhi : Seven IAS officers assigned new charges

The Delhi government on Monday (18.10.2021) effected a reshuffle in the IAS cadres in which four bureaucrats were assigned additional charges and three were given new tasks.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Madhup Vyas (IAS:2000:AGMUT), Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Development holding additional charge of Secretary, Women and Child Development, shall also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Social Welfare.
  2. Ms. Dilraj Kaur (IAS:2000:AGMUT), Secretary, Public Works Department, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control Department.
  3. Neeraj Semwal (IAS:2003:AGMUT) has been posted as Secretary-cum-Commissioner, F & S Department with additional charge of CMD, Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd (DSCSC). He will also hold the additional charge of MD, DTC.
  4. Ms. Swati Sharma (IAS:2003:AGMUT), Secretary, Tourism holding additional charges of Secretary, Art, Cultural and Language (ACL) and MD Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DT & TDC), has been assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Health and Family Welfare.
  5. Ms. Garima Gupta (IAS:2004:AGMUT), Secretary, Social Welfare holding additional charge of MD, SRDC, has been transferred and posted as CEO, DUSIB with additional charge of Secretary, I & P. She will also hold the charge of MD, SRDC.
  6. Udit Prakash Rai (IAS:2007:AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as CEO, Delhi Jal Board with additional charge of Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare. Presently, he is posted as Director, Education holding additional charge of MD, DSFDC Ltd, Special Secretary, H & FW and Project Director, CATS.
  7. Himanshu Gupta (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation holding additional charge of OSD, Health and Family Welfare is transferred and posted as Director, Education with additional charge of OSD, Health and Family Welfare, MD, DSFDC Ltd and Project Director CATS.

None selected for the post of Director (Technical), CMPDIL

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Director (Technical), Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL) at a selection meeting held on October 18, 2021. The PESB interviewed six candidates for the job following which it announced that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of action for selection including search cum selection committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent Authority.

The following 06 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :

  1. Sukumar Dalapati, General Manager, Eastern Coalfields Limited
  2. Bipin Kumar, General Manager, Northern Coalfields Ltd.
  3. Dibyadarshan Tripathy, General Manager, Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL)
  4. Jagadish Chanddra Mazumdar, Chief General Manager, NLC India Limited

Uttar Pradesh : Two IPS officers shifted

The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday (17.10.2021) issued transfer and posting orders of two IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Anees Ahmad Ansari (IPS:2009:UP) : SP, DGP Hqrs.
  2. Akhilesh Kumar Nigam (IPS:2010:UP) : Commandant 38th Battalion, PAC, Aligarh.

Govt appoints Gudey Srinivas as Government Nominee Director of BPCL

Gudey Srinivas (IAS:1990:OR) has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the Board of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). The Petroleum Ministry has appointed him on the Board of BPCL with effect from October 13 in place of Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS:1989:MH), who ceased to be Director of the company. This information has been shared by the Petroleum PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Thursday.

He is currently serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and holding financial advice charge of MoP&NG.

Om Prakash Tripathi appointed as Additional Judge of Allahabad HC

The Union government on Thursday (14.10.2021) notified the appointment of Om Prakash Tripathi as an Additional Judge of Allahabad High Court with effect from the date of he assumes charge of his office till 20.07.2023.

His name was reiterated by the Supreme Court collegium along with two other names on August 24.

Two Additional Judges appointed to Bombay HC

The Union Government on Thursday (14.10.2021) notified the appointment of two Judicial Officers as Additional Judges to the Bombay High Court for a period of two years

They are ;

  1. Anil Laxman Pansare
  2. Sandipkumar Chandrabhan More

These names were recommended by the Supreme Court collegium on September 29 along with two other names.
