Atul Jain to continue as CEO of Polavaram Project Authority for six months

Atul Jain, Chairman of the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB), will continue to hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Polavaram Project Authority (PPA), Hyderabad, for six months.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (18.12.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation for an extension of the additional charge. The extension is effective from November 28, 2024, or until a regular appointment is made, or further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
