Akhilesh Kumar (CSS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers, for five years. His appointment is specifically pertains to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. He will assume the role at Deputy Secretary level.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (26.07.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to appoint Mr. Kumar to the post for five years with effect from date of assumption of charge of the post on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
