Ajay Kumar (IAS:1985:KL), Secretary, Department of Defence, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post to Mr Kumar upon the superannuation of B Anand (IAS:1987:TN) on 31.08.2022 and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
