The central deputation tenure of Maninder Kaur Dwivedi (IAS:1995:CG) as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has been extended by two years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (May 6, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to extend her deputation tenure for a period of two years beyond August 31, 2026, that is up to August 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
She has been serving in the position since June 2023. Prior to that, she was serving as Managing Director of the Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC) under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare since August 31, 2022, when she joined central deputation.
Later, in March 2023, she was empanelled for holding Additional Secretary or equivalent posts in the Government of India and was subsequently appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
